    Cook 
    Presbyterian Homes of Bloomington has an exciting opportunity for on call cook/chef to join our culinary team.  We are looking for an experienced cook with a minimum of two years of cooking experience in a health care setting, preferably with a culinary school background.  Dependability and a strong customer service focus are essential.  Duties include creating high quality meals and dining experiences for our customers by preparing and serving attractive and nutritious meals in our multiple venues.  This is an on call position with varied shifts, including every other weekend.  Qualifications would include:  Cook/Chef with a minimum of two years of cooking experience, preferably a culinary school background, demonstrated compatibility with PHS’s mission and operating philosophies, demonstrated ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language to communicate with all customers, strong inter-personal skills and a team player.

    • Requirements
  • Experience in all facets of line cooking, and have solid knowledge of all cooking methods.
  • Minimum of two years cooking experience
  • Preferabley culinary school training
  • Strong inter-personal skills and be a team player.
  • Demonstrated compatibility with PHS's mission and operating philosophies.
  • Demonstrated ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language to communicate with all customers
